Privacy Policy
Last updated 26 October 2026
What TERA LABS USA LLC collects through teralabs.sh and our products, and what we do with it. Each product also has its own full policy, linked below.
Who we are
Tera Labs is TERA LABS USA LLC, 75 East 3rd Street, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. We make Tera Studio, Pilotbook, Tera Chat, TeraCart and Tera Ads, and we run this website, teralabs.sh.
We don't sell personal data, and we don't show ads.
This website
teralabs.sh has no ads and no third-party trackers, and it sets no cookies for visitors. We count visits ourselves, on our own server, to know how many people read the site, where they come from and which of our products they go on to.
- When you load a page, our server receives your IP address and browser details, as any web server does. It uses them to deliver the page, keep the service secure and count your visit, without storing either one.
- For each visit we count the day, the pages you open, the site that linked you here and any campaign tags in that link, your approximate country, your browser's language, and whether you're on a phone, tablet or computer. The country is looked up on our own server from a local database; your IP address isn't sent anywhere.
- To count each visitor once a day, our server turns your IP address and browser details into a one-way code, mixed with a random value that changes every day. That value is deleted the next day, so the code can't be traced back to you or matched with your visits on other days.
- When you click a link to one of our products, your browser tells our server which link you clicked (a standard link ping), and we count it the same way. Browsers can turn link pings off; Firefox and Brave don't send them.
- We keep only these totals. They are seen only by the Tera Labs team, on a private page, and we don't share or sell them.
- Pages, fonts and images all load from teralabs.sh itself. Your browser doesn't contact any other company's servers while you read this site. No page runs a tracking script: the one script on the site, the FDTL calculator's, does its sums in your browser and sends nothing.
- The team's private area at teralabs.sh/admin uses one sign-in cookie, for the Tera Labs team only. Visitors never receive it.
- Links to our products take you to their own sites, which have their own privacy policies (see below).
Former Tera Labs accounts
teralabs.sh used to have invite-only accounts for a small number of people. Those accounts are closed, and you can no longer sign in here. The data they held (name, email address, hashed password, access settings, and a record of sign-ins, password-reset requests and downloads) was deleted from our server on 19 October 2026. One final backup is kept until 18 November 2026 and then deleted. If you had an account and want us to confirm yours is gone, write to support@teralabs.sh.
Pilotbook
Pilotbook doesn't collect any data about you. Your logbook lives on your iPhone and in your own private iCloud, and nobody else can read it, including us. There are no ads, no analytics, no tracking and no account.
Pilotbook's full privacy policy is at teralabs.sh/pilotbook/privacy, the same page the app links to. It lists exactly what leaves your iPhone (weather lookups, Apple Maps, App Store purchases, files you export, and crash reports if you've opted in with Apple) and what stays on it.
Tera Studio
Tera Studio is a web app with accounts and payments, so it has its own privacy policy: terastudio.co/privacy. It explains how your account, the recordings and songs you upload, the voice models made from them, and your payments are handled.
Tera Studio never sells your voice recordings or voice models, and never shares them with advertisers.
Tera Chat
Tera Chat has its own privacy policy: terachat.co/privacy.
In short, your messages, contacts and relationship stats are stored on your Mac and are never uploaded to a Tera Chat server. When you ask for AI help, the conversation goes to the AI provider you choose. On a paid AI plan it passes through the terachat.co server on its way to Anthropic, and that server doesn't store or log the text.
TeraCart
TeraCart has its own privacy policy: teracart.co/privacy.
It runs online stores, so it holds the store owner's account, store settings, catalogue and orders, customer records, storefront analytics, support messages, and data from the integrations the owner connects. TeraCart says it doesn't sell merchant or customer data. Store owners can ask for export or deletion at support@teracart.co; shoppers should start with the store they bought from.
Tera Ads
Tera Ads has its own privacy policy: teraads.co/privacy.
It reads the accounts you connect (Meta Ads, Shopify, and optionally Google Ads and Google Analytics), encrypts connection tokens before storing them, and keeps data for your subscription plus 90 days. Its policy lists the services it uses, including Anthropic for AI reports. Its analytics cookies are optional.
Your rights and requests
You can ask what personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Write to support@teralabs.sh and we'll answer within 30 days. For Tera Studio, Tera Chat, TeraCart and Tera Ads, the request can also go through the contact details in their own policies.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top. If a change affects how a product uses your data, the product will tell you before it happens.
