Pilotbook
Pilotbook is an iPhone pilot logbook that does the maths for you. It was built in India to DGCA rules and is ready for pilots everywhere: it shows your duty limits before you fly, checks your roster against them, prints your logbook in your country's format, and lets you sign and certify entries on your iPhone. Tera Chat
Tera Chat is a free Mac app that brings iMessage, WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram and Tinder into one inbox and drafts replies in your style. Messages and contacts are stored on your Mac, not on a Tera Chat server. You can connect your own AI account, or try a plan with AI built in free for 7 days. TeraCart
TeraCart is an online store platform for direct-to-consumer brands selling in India. It puts the storefront, checkout, reviews, heatmaps, live chat, shipping and GST invoices in one dashboard, with cash-on-delivery controls, UPI and local couriers built in. Tera Ads
Tera Ads connects your Shopify store, Meta Ads and Google Ads and shows sales, ad spend and estimated profit on one screen. Instead of trusting what Meta and Google each claim, it starts from the orders in your store, takes away ad spend and the cost of fulfilling them, and shows what's left. How the company runs its products
Tera Labs is a small, independent lab. Each product is built and run on its own, so an account in one product doesn't sign you in to another:
- Tera Studio: an account at terastudio.co, with email and password or a sign-in provider. Stripe processes payments.
- Pilotbook: no account at all. Your logbook stays on your iPhone and in your private iCloud, and Apple handles payment for Pilotbook Pro.
- Tera Chat: the app works without an account. The optional account uses a 6-digit code sent by email instead of a password, and AI plans are sold through Link, Stripe's merchant of record.
- TeraCart: a merchant account at teracart.co, with Google, Apple or email sign-up.
- Tera Ads: an account at teraads.co with email and password. Paid plans go through Stripe checkout.
The company site itself has no sign-in. It once had invite-only accounts for a small number of people; those accounts are closed.
In practice, billing questions, cancellations and refunds go to the product you paid for. For Pilotbook Pro, Apple handles subscriptions and refunds.
How to check who makes an app before you pay
Before you give an app your voice, your messages or your store's data, it's worth two minutes to confirm who is behind it. These checks work for any app, and here is how Tera Labs products answer each one:
- Read the terms for a legal name and address. A real seller names itself. Tera Studio's terms say TERA LABS USA LLC is the seller of Tera Studio services, and Tera Chat's terms say the app and its AI plans are made by TERA LABS USA LLC.
- Look for the maker on the footer or about page. TeraCart's footer says "by TeraLabs", and Tera Ads' about page says it is made by Tera Labs.
- Find the privacy contact. A good policy tells you who to write to and how fast they answer. Tera Studio and the Tera Labs privacy page both promise a reply within 30 days.
- Know the name on your card statement. Apps that sell through a payment partner can show that partner's name. Tera Chat's terms say Link appears on your statement for its AI plans.
- Check the domain spelling. Similar names can belong to different companies. Tera Ads is at teraads.co, spelled with one r and ending in .co.
